When the newly appointed Company Secretary at Adwest walked in, we knew things had changed and weren't sure what to expect from this man who was younger than the previous incumbent and obviously had ideas of how a Secretariat should work.  We need not have worried.  He was a great boss, a lovely man and ended up a great friend even after I had left the company.   We always kept in touch, would sometimes have lunch, and after changing his workplace came to my husband's Rotary Club to talk about diamonds.  We were so happy that he had found Catherine and he definitely had a new joie de vivre about him after that.  Obviously because of Covid we've not met for a long time and it will be very hard coming to terms with the fact that he is never going to rock up - or ride up on his bike - to sit and put the world to rights.   God bless you André, you will be missed so much. xxx
