Andre joined the Worshipful Company of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in 1978, shortly after its formation. He had previously qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. He was rarely seen at Livery functions for some 20 years whilst at work, but later he played a significant role as Treasurer of the Livery Liaison Group, a body which enabled members of the Company not on the Court to play a greater role in the Company's social activities. He was a reliable colleague who will be sorely missed.
